The company Gandiva designs authentic historical costumes for public clients and private individuals since 2000. Customers include museums, musicians, dancers, writers, and visual artists, as well as bridal couples, visitors to balls and historical events.

Birgit Enkirch, born in Berlin, studied Painting, Art History, and for her post-graduate studies "Textile Design" at the Berlin University of Arts. After her studies, she worked for many years as a freelance painter before she began working as a costume designer.
Raphael Enkirch, born in Berlin, studied Interior Design in Hanover, followed by a master's degree in Design and Media. In addition to his work at the Hanover University, he also works in the field of textile design.
